Documentation for Sxmo comes in several parts:
- Installation Guide - This will explain how to install Sxmo on your device. It uses postmarketOS as underlying distribution.
- Getting Started - A quick getting started guide that demonstrates Sxmo’s characterists and gestures
- User Guide - This is the user guide or manual that explains how Sxmo works. It is the most comprehensive part of the documentation. On any Sxmo device, you read this offline via a simple
man sxmoin your terminal (or by selecting Help in the main menu). Using the version on your device is recommended and will always ensure you are reading the exact version corresponding to what you have installed. This on-line version covers the latest development version. - Device Guide - Guide for finding suitable devices .
- Contributor Guide - Guide for contributors. Explains how to submit patches.
- Maintainer’s Guide - Guide for maintainers.
- Mission Statement - Explains the values and philosophy behind our project and community.
- Code of Conduct - Community rules and standards
